Hello!

I'm about to buy the CM stacker and I want to make sure I got every little piece I need before I finally pull the trigger.

I'd like to know how many fans it comes with, if the fans that come with it are good or need to be replaced, and how many more (and what type of fans) I should get.

Few notes :

I'm already getting the cross-flow fan.
My motherboard northbridge is taken care of, same for my CPU HSF and video card silencer.

I've already decided to get a 120m nexus real silent fan (the orange one).

And finally, I won't have much (if any room) for those 120mm fans in the front underneath the black mesh since the 4-in-3 unit already comes with it's fan and I'll be filling the rest of the front slots with front panels and dvd drives.

So aside from that.. what other fans would you get if you were me. Or which did you get if you use a Stacker?

Thank you!

Get as least fans as you get, the more fans, the more annoying the system will be.

To find out how many fans the CM stacker case has I will advise you to check out 3dGameMan video review of the CM stacker case click to watch it

However, you will be better off using an Air Duct case with a Vent hole directly for the CPU. That will reduce the need of fans as the CPU fan itself will be an intake fan.

More in my P4 heat sig.

The Stacker comes with one lousy 120mm in the back and one lousy 80mm on the top. If you want more than one 120mm on the front, you have to buy more 4-3 units to hold the fans.

Before I started water cooling, I had the cross flow fan, an 80 mm on the top and the side and two on the back with a 120mm in the back and in the front.

Now I'm down to the 120mm on the back and the 80mm on top with the crossflow...and the 4x120's on my rad.

you seem to know your cooling Daddyjaxx.

I'm already getting a 120mm fan to replace the lousy one you mention. And I won't be buying anymore 4-in-3 units.

So how many 80mm fans do I need to get? 1 for the top blow hole? How many more? I don't intend to put a hole in my side window so I won't be putting a fan there.. but did you mention 2 80mm fans in the back on top of the 120mm ? Are those fans already included or I need to buy them?

thanks for the clarification

2x120mm fans...and 1x80mm blowhole fan is included....

i have a panaflo for the blowhole...an evercool 120mm for exhaust....an d12sl yate loon for intake (4-in-1 module all the way at the bottom)
and the crossflow fan...xp90 + 92mm panaflo m1a for cpu....

i think that's MORE than enough...you don't need 2x80mm fans at the bottom for exhaust IMO. Case temp is about 29°C
