How many divx movie do you have?

between my 150Gb vcd/svcd ftp, and my roomates 150 Gb DivX ftp, we've lost count of how many we've gone through. We only burn the good movies, everything else just get deleted. We're gona make a DivX player this year, so that'll be neat.
 
I've got about 6 or 7 divx movies, however I have about 160 DVD's that I plan to convert to Divx so I can share them with family and friends and maybe throw them on Morpheus too.
 
You get DivX movies free cause your friend owns a dvd rental place? haha...that makes no sense. Aren't all divx releases free? Hahaha...btw..I'm still waiting to see your 10drive raid strip

I can't wait for that 1.5 ghz palomino comes out, Flaskmpeg is gonna be able to encode divx movies in like 3 hours! AWESOME!
 
if you have dual intels, flaskmpg is smp aware, but many have trouble with it. if it works, you get the fastest decoding out to date🙂

that why i got so many hardrive dude cos i live in small town when ever i got to town just take 40 dvd movie than got home rip it to my hardrive and return to him early as possible. if you don't believe so that is your problem dude not my ha ha ha ha
 
Divx movies, about 20, Circuit City had them on sale for cheap....😛

Seriously? prolly 20-30 for use on the secondary laptop(no-dvd)
 
haha....ripping takes like NO time compared to the enocoding process. All of your PCs 1ghz+ SMP? Thats the only way I could even imagine you being able to encode 40dvds on 3pcs in 2 days. And that would be 24/7. 13 rips per pc. ~6.5 rips per day per pc. Thatd be each rip ripped and encoded in approximately 3.5hours. Thats assuming you dont goto sleep and are able to be on each computer at the exact time each process finishes.

jaybert don't you know how to use vidomi program dude it can let convert 2 or 3 movie as the sametime than leave the pc alone lol
if i don't use that pc i can program it convet 4 movie at the sametime if i want too
