mine is so ingrained in my daily routine i didnt even count it when i clicked hehe.

wallet
lighter
smokes
knife

thumb drive, pens, ipod and that stuff are usually in my laptop case so i dont really keep it in my pockets. my keys are on a caribeener, my phone is usually in my hand. sometimes ill put it in a pocket, but i usually leave it in my truck unless im actually using it. when i get to my desk, it sits there on my desk until i leave or use it. all this goes out the window if im on a jobsite, i could have any number of wire strippers, crimpers, cable ends/ adapters, cables, screwdrivers and other stuff in my pockets.

i don't carry around a bunch of crap in my pockets. it bugs me.

maybe:

phone
loose money / change

if it's summer and i don't have my keys in my coat pocket then they might be in there too

so 1-3 is my final answer

Wallet
Cash
Lighter

Work badge is on a lanyard, car keys stay in the briefcase, I don't carry a cell at work.

keys in left pocket, pen, pencil, small knife in right pocket. Cell phone in that little subpocket that most pairs of jeans have in the right pocket.

Wallet in back.

Looks like 5.

I didn't count my phone as it is on a belt clip.

lip gloss??

Meaning chapstick perhaps? I use chapstick in the winter months as the cold dries up my lips real bad. But I usually just put it on at night and let it sit overnight.

always, even when im out, or drunk i know to check for three things in this order:

Wallet
Phone
keys

Thats all you need to survive in any city...well assuming your wallet has at least 2-3 forms of payment inside!
