1. 2GB iPod Nano
For working out , when I'm at work, or whenever I don't want to carry something bulky (replaced my mobiblu cube that broke, the nano was a gift)

2. PDA w/1GB SD Card
For listening to music when I have to carry around my PDA like on campus and going to class and stuff

3. 20GB Cowon A2
For long trips and times when I know I'll be waiting, won't be doing anything for a while, when I want to watch videos too. It's too bulky to carry around all the time

I probably should've gotten a PDA/cellphone hybrid or smartphone that plays MP3s off miniSD cards, to replace my cell, nano and PDA, but I got the Cowon A2 instead since I like to watch TV shows/movies on the go.

What do you use?

I have a 20 gig Archos from 2002. It's pretty hefty. It's strictly for playback over my car stereo. Only time I attach earphones is when I'm on the plane.

Once the 8 gig Sandisk Sansa shows up at retailers, I'll be replacing the Archos.

several computers, two of which are hooked to speakers (1 is a laptop, so it's portable), all play digital audio
my car has a cd player, plays digital audio (kinda portable)
i've got an ipod, plays digital audio
phone plays digital audio. i suppose the old one does as well, but it's sitting in a drawer.

My iPod Mini is currently dead because I have no firewire/AC wall adapter to update the firmware with. Grrrrr.

I have 3.

Philips GoGear 6gb Jukebox
Samsung a900 phone
Compaq iPaq 3950

I don't use the second 2, and use the Philips rarely. In my car, I just got an MP3-capable HU, at home I listen to the stereo. I'm usually too busy talking at work.

1. Panasonic CD player
2. Sony CD player
3. Creative Zen Sleek

That's it for all my portable gear, though. Not including radios.

1 that I use for music: ipod photo. My portable GPS unit can do mp3s but I never use it for that.

None. I used to have a Creative NOMAD (the original one) but I couldn't get the software to work in XP.
