3 - Two laptops and my main desktop.

A couple of tablets, but I didn't include those, since they are just toys.

One server, one desktop and two tablets at home.
A laptop and a desktop at work.
I used to have a VM at work (not sure if that's still running - could be. It used to reboot with the network scripts not running properly, so who knows what happened to it), and I share a VM with a buddy.
Also got access to another machine at work for the heavier calculations.

I have 2 PCs I use regularly, and then my fiance has a laptop she uses regularly.
I put 3

She also has a tablet that she uses all the time.
I also have a server that I use indirectly regularly.

1 Q9550 based VM rig (aka old gaming rig)
1 i3-2100 htpc\family gaming rig

1 and it's all I need and want to manage. I hate laptops anyway. My desktop is my gaming and primary pc. I can also use FIOS media manager to share out to the various tvs in the house. It's easy and free, though the quality is not the best. Otherwise I netflix through ipad / smartphone.

BTW, I need to point back to this thread the next time someone argues "do you really need a nice purse, fast car, etc.". Look at all the extras when it comes to tech toys.

2 Laptops, 1 desktop, 1 server, and 2 HTPCs

The server and 1 laptop stay on pretty much 24/7/365, and others are turned on as needed/wanted.

I also have an ASUS tablet and an iPod Touch.
