grr8scott, your son sure is lucky to have parents like you :)

My parents think that one computer is enough for 4 people. :Q

I hand all my old ones down to my sister, who doesn't live here, so 3. My desktop (800 T-bird, GF3), my Dell laptop (Inspiron 8100), and my sister's POS HP (she wouldn't let me build it for her; wanted the "technical support").

at school: 1 laptop (700mhz) and 1 desktop (1.6 ghz)
at home: 2 desktop pc's (550mhz and 200mhz) and a powerpc (mac) about 4 years old, and a 6 year old macintosh peforma that really doesnt work so well anymore, but i'm a packrat and wont let my parents get rid of it. (sentimental value)

<< Me and my bf have a computer each, and a server and tons of spare parts stashed away. ;)

EDIT: And what do you use all of them for?
>>

Alot!

four in my room

the one I'm using right now(Athlon)

the "Intel Inside" machine has its cover removed, flipped upside down and has bunch of crap on top of it and is serving as make shift table. Its a full tower and makes a good table. It will be intact until I spill something in it.

Macintosh under a table

broken Macintosh in closet,

Pentium 100 system in storage

my 'rents have their machine and a laptop

so that comes to six

How many in use? Well I only use my current rig as a computer and my old machine as a table. and my parents seldom use their machine.
