HDMI/DVI doesn't matter here since the 360 cannot be connected with these...

my TV has two component inputs and my receiver has two component inputs...

I have my ps2 and receiver hooked up to my TV and my DVD and HD Cable hooked up to my receiver.

not sure exactly how I will hook it up yet...

how about everyone else???

HD DVR... DVD Player... Xbox... and PS2.

My TV has 3 component inputs, but thats ok because my receiver has 3 too I can use for switching, and I plan to use HDMI on the HD DVR anyways once I get the firmware updated to get rid of the darn DD bug with the Motorola boxes.

0 component inputs

I have my HTPC connected to the receiver with an optical connection and directly to the LCD TV with a DVI cable.

Not sure if this same bug you are talking about with the Motorola cable box, but if I am watching an HD station with DD (but my receiver doesn't receive the DD signal), if I go to the ON DEMAND channel and then back to the HD channel, the DD signal kicks in...is that the one you are talking about?

I do not have electronic stuff with component inputs/outputs. All of them are composite.

I wonder if anyone gets confused, thinking composite = component...

I have component video from the PS2 to the TV. I'm trying to sell my Klipsch and other things to pick up a half-decent receiver/7.1 surround system.

Computer and DVD player are hooked up via component to my receiver and then out to the projector.

I'll make a plug for cheap python component cables from cablesforless while I'm at it ;)
(I don't work for them)

I've had terrible luck with 3rd party cables for my PS2. Tried everything from $10 cheapies to the Monster Cable one and Sony OEM still works best. (note, I only paid $3 for the Monster Cable)
