When I first started here my back was to the door and I was NOT feeling that. So I finally moved my desk so that I am facing the doorway and I just casually close my windows when I see people slithering into my office.
problem with winKey M is that people will be even MORE suspicious on what you are doing since you minimized ALL browsers... heh, its even worse if your wallpaper is Jessica Alba in a bikini (or Lindsay Lohen in a bra top)

Sometimes my Lotus Notes will freeze if I attempt to refresh the inbox. What happens is that if you alt-tab into Lotus Notes when it's frozen nothing happens. Which leads to even more frantic alt-tabbing and you get the picture from there.

The problem is, sometimes its too late to alt-tab. Someone is already next to you. Then you start sweating and thinking, is it too late to alt-tab now? Am I being more suspicious by changing windows than just leaving the web-page up. Or you do alt-tab and wonder if it was too late, did the person just see you switch and know you are covering up your browsing.
Then the worst is what someone else mentioned, you alt-tab to a window that doesn't fully cover the IE window, but leaves a flashing ad banner visible. So you see out of the corner of your eye this blatantly obvious banner flashing wildly while a co-worker is talking to you. You know its completely obvious and drawing their attention to it, but there is absolutely nothing you can do about it at that point. Then the dreaded moment comes and you see their eyes look at your screen to see what that annoying flashing is. Dang ad banners.

oh yeah, Win D is actually more 'powerful' because Win M sometimes would not work (in near-crash/BSOD situation).
This requires use of both hands.
Win D is better, one hand use and pressing alternatively min/un-min windows.
