How many classes do you take at the same time in college?

As in, how many classes per semester is the norm/average?

I'm taking 4 classes for 12 credits. 12 credits is the bare min but I felt 4 ECE courses were plenty to keep me busy.

At my school I'd say 15 credits and 4-5 classes is average.

usually 4 per quarter (16 units). its 3 per quarter from here on out. oh yes and this doesn't include baseball and volleyball class.

I took 3 a semester, once 4. Went 3 nights a week, each night was a different class, 4-5 hours each night.

For most of my college career I've taken between 15 and 19. One quarter I took 14, one I took 12, and one I took 8 (during my summers). I'm really ready for a break.

At the University of Texas at Dallas, the median is 12 hours, which is the minimum to be a full-time student.
I am taking 17 hours: Calculus 2, Mechanics and Heat, Discrete Mathematics, US History up to 1877, and Introduction to Philosophy. I will also soon be starting a 20-hr/week job.

What about 15, anyway..

I am taking 4 classes, well 5 if you include pep band, but the practice is short (but I go to all the mens and womens home games).
