Lying in general is very human...

fixed

Fix: Dig, promising and breaking your promise is not technically lying. Lying is saying something right now to someone that you know is not true. When he made the promise, he intended to keep it, I have to believe. To tell the truth (yea, I do that), this is the first I've heard since he was sworn in that he is still smoking. Is that a known fact?

I did not even realize he smoked. I went with 2-3. Probably does not have much time to smoke, you know, the whole running the most powerful country in the world thing getting in the way. 😛

Whatever the amount he needs to smoke more. Become a veritable smoke addict and then get a lung transplant. I?ll even lend him one of mine.

If I took over a job previously occupied by Bush and had to deal with the mess he had left behind, I reckon I'd be on about 3 packets a day.

He promised his wife he would quit in office, but I think he just cut back. I would have voted 7+, but I think 4-6 might be appropriate.

Can't meet with delegates/ministers/etc if you're stinking like muffler.

i don't know. we used to have some Korean customers at a radar start-up i worked at. they smoked constantly - unfiltered. the VP of engineering smoked too. they had LOOONG meetings.

as one of the suppliers of visual aids (engineering drawings), i even got to go in the Smoke Room.

i wonder which foreign ministers smoke & which don't.

my guess is, Obama smokes as a way of coping with stress. which he probably has a lot of right now.
