How many CD's have you burned?

If you had to estimate, how many would you say you've gone through?

I have been burning CD's since I bought my first CD-R (2x read/ 2x write Sony) in 1995.

I am sure I have burned way over 1000 by now.

I prolly burned about 800 or so. I burn a back up of any game i buy and any cd i buy.

all those cd-burners.

If I had to bet, I'd say I burned over a 1000 last year alone. And I'm currently going through about 70 or 80 a month right now.

Smart and Friendly 6x4x24 (From ValueAmerica )
Ricoh 4x4x20
Teac 12x4x32 (I think)

Burned probably around 500-700 cds by now.

Dialup sucks :disgust:

A lot. But, I don't think >1000. I'd guess between 300-500 but I really don't know.

100 CDs - Backup of original 70 games ( Games I own)
150 CDs - Backups of games i dont own
200 mp3 CDs
150 CDs - Divx + loads of mpeg clips
50 CDs - Backups of applications i dont own and i cant afford
50 CDs- misc. audio cds + cds i burnt for someone else...

My first was just a 2x4 writer. No RW. I made about 10 coasters tops. After that, I got a Plextor 12x10x32 and havn't made a single one because of BurnProof(tm). I fit into the 400-1000 category

I had an HP 2X2X6. Funny how 2X was plenty fast back then...

0-50 range for me. I have no reason to burn CDs. I don't make backups of CDs I buy because I can take care of the CDs I buy. Never broken one, never had to rely on a backup. The only data file on my computer I care about is my Quicken data file which gets regularly backed up to a Zip disk. I've had several different CD burners, but they hardly get used. I burn pictures from my digital camera to CDs on occasion to transport them. Other than that, the last thing I burned was probably a RedHat ISO.
