How many case fans can you put in the enlight 7237?

Without any modifications there is room for two case fans: an intake fan in the lower front of the case and an exhaust fan just below the power supply in the upper rear of the case.

Note: the 7237 is one of the easiest cases to modify if you choose to.

two is correct. but it's real easy to cut fan holes in the metal. I'd say if you want to mod there's good places to put 2-3 more fans.

I have 3 fans right now. I made another hole in the back right below the given hole (right below PSU, a tight fit) so two blowing air out. I modded the front to fit one 120mm fan (another tight fit but do-able) and cut out the front bezel to place a grill+filter. I also have a blowhole with no fan operating in it... just a good place to let extra heat rise out and not interfere with my airflow. I have 3 7237's but only modded one... I am lazy :) but they are simple to modify and fun too. Good luck.

I had one of these cases, and I had an extra intake and an extra exhaust fan. In addition, I got a small square of sheet metal (actually my dad did this), cut out a square in it and left flanges, and then mounted a radio shack squirrel cage fan. Set this up so that it sucked air from right above the video card and exhausted it out. Had to drill about 8 additional holes, but I used the same pattern as existed, so I doubt it will be noticable. I know, probably hard to picture without a picture, but unfortunately I gave the case away, so I don't have access to it right now. Maybe after I get my digital camera, I can get to it and take a pic or 2.

Good case if you intend to modify it or not. Two fans (good quality) are probably sufficent for the average user and the 7237 has (atleast in my oppinion) good placement.

As I noted above, the 7237 take two case fans without modding. I actually have four in mine. The two aforementioned ones plus two more in blowholes. I cut a 3-inch hole in the side of the case for an 80mm intake fan over the CPU and a 3-inch hole in the top of the case for an 80mm exhaust fan.

I have one of those, and one thing Im wondering is, can the inflow from the lower front fan really be very good, considdering the plastic panel is right in fron of the fan?

Sunner, no it isn't very good. I cut out a hole (120mm fan)in the front bezel and placed a fan grill and filter inside it.

Good point Sunner. The workaround (or at least what I did) is to cut away the metal fan guard behind the plastic bezel. I also drilled out the intake holes in the bezel itself and made each one approximately 4 times larger.

Can anyone recommend a reasonable decent and quiet case fan for the 7237? Can you connect the case fans to the FAN headers on the motherboard?

I was told to not use the fan headers (atleast with the fans I choose). I bought my fans from 2COOLTEK (they are great by the way), I think their site told me not to use my fans with the header. If not someone here can tell you. If in doubt I would not run them on the header, it would be a bummer to fry something on your MOBO.

I have the Enlight 7273. Nice cheap case, but Im buying some slot overs ($2 for 10) because the ones that come with the case are hard to work with. Here is what I plan on doing to my case:

Intake:
- 80mm 34CFM intake in the front-bottom
- 80mm 34CFM glued onto the case cover, right where the holes start

Exhaust:
- 80mm Panaflow 47CFM below PS
- 80mm 34CFM PS Fan
- 42CFM (15CFM Real) Slot Exhaust by Video Card

Misc:
- 120mm 108CFM glued onto right side of case directing air in the CPU/PS area

I have a Duron 650 and will be shooting for 1000-1050MHz. Alpha PAL6035 Heatsink w/Sanyo Denki 60mm Fan. I also have a 250W PS, is that enough for this? What do you all think of this setup??? Any help/comment will be greatly appreciated

i tell people not to use fan headers, except maybe to read the rpms.

i made 2 holes in the right panel of my 7237 and added 2 120mm fans there =)

i have one 92mm fan in the front (new screw holes, no more plastic retainer). 120mm fan requires more thinking since the front panel snaps into place. the easiest thing is to place the 120mm fan back some distance, and use a duct or gasket to connect it to the front.

i have one 80mm fan in the back.

i also removed the area where the holes of the front panel is, except for that center bar. i covered it with metal mesh to act as a filter.
