How many cars in how many years?

on my 3rd car and first motorcycle since 1998...

first car - 89 hyundai excel - engine overheated at 127000 miles - i loved that car - it had to be donated, too much to fix the car. It overheated due to the electrical fan stopped working...(blew a fuse or something).

second car - 94 toyota tercel - died 137000 miles, blew a piston rod due to mal functioning injector - injector wasnt firing on time, and hence oil and gas mixed and caused the engine to seize and then when i started it, it blew a rod..

third car - 2000 ford focus - so far running goooD!
 
On my 3rd car since '96.
First car was a '79 Chrysler LeBaron which lasted until the tranny died (thanks to years of my cousin revving it in neutral and slamming it into drive to roast the tires before I got it).
Second was an '84 Dodge Ramcharger, which lasted until it was ~150k miles and started having a lot of random problems, at which point I bought my current car, a '99 Chrysler 300M.

1. 1982 Toyota HiAce minivan. Purchased for $10 and sold for $200 9 years later w/ only 56k on it.
2. 1988 Citroen BX 16RS. Fun car with hydraulic suspention. Got it for $1500 and gave it away to my sister when I moved here.
3. Currently driving a '97 Old Regency. Comfortable, Reliable, not sexy.

Looking into getting a Cadillac SLS/STS '98 or later. I love the look of it.
 
In the last 14 years I've had around 14 cars. Half of those came in the last 5 years. Only 1 accident around 3 days after getting my license.

First car in 98...

1st - 88 Dodge Shadow... Piece of crap... but it lasted me a good 16 months... minimal maintenance...

2nd (current) - 00 Pontiac Firefly... cheap buy at the time, and have had no problems other then the A/C, which was covered by warranty. Still on original tires (currently at 86000KMs)

co-owned a bunch of cheap used VW busses when I was in a band that toured. Loved them at first, got really really tired of living in them after a few years &amp;/or trying to park them in NYC.

Been driving since I was 17, that was 1 year ago. I'm 18 now

'90 Chevy Lumina (parted out)
'94 Chrysler Concorde (Computers died, traded for following 2)
'86 Horizon (Reverse died, sold for 200$)
'89 Chevy Celebrity (Sold for 500, got 250, guy skipped town and I never pursued him)
Ended up buying a '94 Chevy Lumina, drove that till it stalled one day and I gave it to a neighbor, they promptly had it running for 200$ of parts
Then an '86 Pontiac Fiero Fastback, got that impounded for speeding and not having insurance. This was taken away before the lumina, after the lumina died I moved to my current car

'04 Honda Civic. brand new! =)

I've been driving for three years, and I've had three cars:

2000 Sentra
1996 Sentra (my sister and I traded when I went to college and only needed a car on weekends)
2004 Honda Accord (current car)
 
3 years, has a 97 subaru legacy that was the "family kid car," then bought my mustang...

both cars here (That front bumper has been replaced, no more jolly roger, no more screw holes)
