How many of you are at work and are throwing paper airplanes around...... not answering the phones......and having department LAN games? (UT2k3, MOHAA, BF1942, Quake 3) :

Gotta love the Friday before Christmas shutdown. Actually, we have to work Monday, and I bet Monday will be even more of a blow-off!

Yay for laid back corporate America!
 
90% of my time here is doing nothing, I'll also be leaving in about 1 hour... got to put in my full 3 hours on friday 😉
 
I'm doing all of the above.... Had the paper airplane contest earlier and just finished the first session of our lan game (Empire Earth because our slow ass computers cant play anything better).

Of course, the reason I'm not doing anything is because some dumbass cracked open the water main in front of the CDC so the county shut our water off "until further notice". I honestly don't know why they haven't sent us home since no one can do anything.

Call volume is lower than normal, should really start dropping around 11 AM (lunch time on the east coast).

By the time I leave it should be dead slow.

Heck, I wish I WAS at work right now! 2-1/2 weeks off is too much...just another 1-1/2 weeks to go until I go back to work! YAH!

I'm actually off today, but I have to work next Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, so I'll probably be doing nothing on those days.
 
As you can tell by my posts I haven't done sh*t all in weeks now, primarily because I came in so late in this project that it's nearly impossible to do anything.

Christ I hate being a consultant.
 
I've done squat yesterday and pretty much will do squat all day today.

I want to fire up some games, just don't know if I should since my computer screen faces towards my door & I'm right across from the kitchen, high traffic area.

Actually I like to work these next two weeks since everyone is gone I can get more stuff done and "Slither" out of here early every day 😎 😉
 
I'm at school doing nothing 😀 got a final tomorrow (which I have to take work off for 🙁)....just hopping around IRC, bout to go play some Metroid 😉
 
I'm not doing too much. Just sort of here 🙂 But then again, I worked 40 hours in the last three days, drove over 700 miles, and did 10 Win95 to Win2k conversions.

Going to see TTT later this afternoon. Wooooo!

I remember at one of the companies I first worked at my manager liked to bring in a radio and blare his elvis xmas tunes cd everyday on the week b4 xmas. I dont have to tell you he had to keep replacing those cds somehow they magically disappeared or broke every year.:confused

Not really for reason as above 😉

In fact not noly do I get 2 weeks off, but I may be getting a month off since there is a lag from when they need me back, if they will at all. I guess we'll see.

Thankfully about 3 days before I got that news I asked my boss to change me over from a bill pay scheme to a salaried one. Now that I won't be billing I'll get a healthy salary anyway!
