I was reading comments on an article about Alex Jones being sued for a billion dollars. Dr. Fauci's name came up by more than a few MAGAer's and they were saying he should be sued for a billion too. Apparently, he did nothing but lie to us about COVID and he knows the vaccines have long-term side effects and mislead all the American people about how the vaccines are safe when they're extremely unsafe. This isn't bored people trolling, these fools really believe Fauci's evil and needs to be punished. Hard for me to imagine people blaming Dr. Fauci here and praising Trump, but his people are loyal to the death.

Reading comments on YT videos & Reddit about anything COVID or Trump related feels unreal, a lot of those people live in a world where not only is Trump is great man, but he's 100% going to be president again in 2024. It's pretty damn terrifying.

Luckily, we made it thru covid minus thousands of deaths, but luckily and thank god we made it thru... so far.
What should scare people to death is what might happen next?
And now, thanks to mega, we are in this dumbed down mindset to just ignore and play down threats like covid. But next time a new covid could come along with a death rate of 90%, just like with HIV pre-meds.
Think about it....
Take all the people that have caught covid, that have came down with covid, people like you and people you know, and the many celebrities and politicians, add that number up then just imagine had the death rate from covid been 90%? 100%?

Well, mass death worse than the black plaque will happen should a more lethal covid come along. Maybe they won't even call it a covid, but most likely something entirely new.
And here we are.... deniers, mask deniers, anti-vaxxers, anti-social distancing, etc etc. So here we are in our new mega mindset, and then out of the blue a new covid-like virus comes along, a new humanity killing covid-like virus comes along and then what?
The "and then what" is..... we're screwed and millions will die because millions of Americans will be in the mega mindset. Simply to ignore, reject, become anti everything, and just poo poo it all away.
America.... we were given a test, a big test, and we failed. We failed for the future.

Had the only source been the first (a Murdoch tabloid) I'd agree with you, but the second link is from Stat, a more reputable source. It in turn links to a preprint of the actual research.
