How many 12oz beers have you consumed in a single day?

Woah woah woah...I'm all for the tall stories and all, but a 12 pack in an hour? I've seen guys funnel 3-4 beers at a time and they're out of order for the next 45 minutes, so I can't see how someone can swallow 12 beers in an hour and get away with it.

As for the question in the OP, I can only estimate, since once you get to a certain point, you have to go with a "range". So I'd say that range is somewhere around 18-22. Those days are long gone though 🙂

I could put back 7 or 8 beers (miller lite or something) in an hour but feel too bloated to drink much more and starting to get pretty drunk, but I could see a *few* people being able to do 12 in an hour.

12 ounce beers piss me off. Might as well be a shot of beer. I could never understand the point of a six pack either...

For me, 40+ while camping. In a single night, around 30.

I've done 12 in an hour.

I also puked 3-4 times in said hour.

In a rolling 24 hour period 25++ easy.

I drank an entire 24 pack of miller lite cans once... it was one of the few times I ever got drunk on beer

Probably above 30.

I know that I have drank over 20 in a single sitting... within a couple hours I believe. (details hazy)

I used to routinely drink a 12 pack from around 8pm to midnight. We'd affectionately refer to it as "12 can sam" if you could drink a lot. This stemmed from a buddy who was a real lightweight, who we called "2 can sam".
In a 24 hour period though...yikes, it hard to say b/c we used to go out boating during hte day and then clubbing that night. When you are sweating in a boat all day you can drink a TON of beer. probably 30 easily.

used to be able to drink a case(24) of cheap beer(Bud) in one day easily. i drink beer for taste now, so rarely get anything larger than a 12 pack

1 keg of beer = 165 12 oz beers
4 people = 41.25 beers/person/keg

Myself and 3 friends drank a keg of beer in 24 hours, so we averaged 41.25 beers per person in that 24 hour span. If you puked, anything that came up and was still cold had to be replaced.

Our competitors beat us by a couple of hours.

Just opened my 1st 😉

With a keg though, you have to remember all the beer that's lost due to the foam!

Probably 4 or 5. As lame as some might say it is, I drink primarily for the taste. I simply can't stomach a large quantity of beer no matter how good it is, and the kind of beer I like would leave me passed out if I drank more than 4 or 5.

Most of the time I switch to a different type of alcohol rather than just chug beers. I'll start off with a few stiff drinks and follow up with one beer, maybe two.

When I was in college, I drank an astounding amount of beer. I probably couldn't get more than 7 or 8 down now without feeling ill.

To answer the OP's question, I would estimate that there was a major dent in the second case of beer.

Youth + college + rugby = world class liver

My personal best is 40 from 9am to 2am.....I have scars from that adventure. I have no problem sitting down with a 12 pack when the mood strikes me, but I am more a straight whiskey drinker now....NO ICE!

Full case in about a 10 hour span (Got full because I was munching pizza too)

My friends and I did a mini-keg challenge during the NFL draft. I killed 5L of Warsteiner in about 3.5 hours.

How the hell should I know, I used to black out after more than about 30, so no memory beyond that ... Now I usually stick to 1 or 2.
