I have a $3000 credit card from associates bank. The inital rate was 18.99% annually. I have been paying it monthly on time for over 1 year. They gradually lower the interest rate by 0.5% every 1-2 months. The current rate is 15.9%, does anyone know how low it may go?

my current rate is 9.9%
there are websites that tell you who has the lowest rates (dont have it handy), you are crazy to pay that much if you have immaculate credit. Id apply to another and do a balance transfer.

I am now paying 0.0% until May of next year on my $13,000 balance transfer. :)

Call the card company and tell them you got an offer from XXX company to transfer with a %5.9 rate until March of 2002. Tell them to match it, they usually will.

My Visa is an adjustable currently at about 10% with a 12.99% cap.

The cap is guaranteed till the end of 2005.:)

My card is 17% annually but I pay something like $25-75 (can't remember) to have it down to 10.9%. This is on a canadian card. Its technically a student visa, so thats why I haven't gone for a platinum or gold or anything.

my interest on my Discover is about 18.99% but since I pay on time like 2 weeks before the due date, the interest rate really doesnt matter. Ive only had the card for like 4-5 months so i expect it to go down gradually.
