How low can spammers get?

Now I'm getting spam from someplace called "Hotmail Member Services". They think they can trick me into opening their spam, but I know better.

Yes, you are too smart for them

lol that sucks man. i hate spam.

Some friends of mine actually reads the spam and I know a girl who wrote a polite "no thank you" letter back to spammer's defunct email address.

Not everybody knows about computer and spammers are hoping they don't.

My ISP issue email address is down the pond and I only check it once a week and this is what I usually see. Isn't that terrible? Look at the spam load.

🙁

It's pathetic. If you have followed my link above, you'll know what I mean. If Canadian penny represent important messages, it's like sorting a few of 'em out of box full of American pennies.

i change hotmail addresses every 6-12 months.

btw, if you reply to one of those "remove" addresses thinking your address will be removed, think again. you get more spam. that just tells them your account is active (hot) so they bombard you with more.

Totally true..

how do you manage to keep people informed if you change emails twice a year?

Another thing to remember:

NEVER use your ISP issued email address on eBay. You'll have emails relevant to some products you bought on eBay hauting you for years. For example, I bought a plan on electronics and ink. Now I'm constantly getting "GET FREE INK FOR YOUR PRINTER", "LEARN HOW TO BUILD A CABLE DESCRAMBLER FOR FREE" emails. There are bots searching through eBay auctions. It's not as bad now that they blocked email address from being visible to anyone not directly affiliated with the auction though.

haha! chinese porn! you dirty bastard! 😀

I get a lot of spam recently. The lowest was from "Collections Department" re: Payment past due

Just another 'reduce your debt' scam.

Assholes.

Damn I'm dumb . . . I could never figure out why it seemed my spam was increasing after I started removing addresses. Outlook Express block sux. Any federal anti-spam law in the works?
