How loud is the fan on a 9700?

Can anyone supply me with the specs for the Stock ATI fan used on the 9700pro cards.

Mine made enough noise that I had to get a Zalman to get it quiet.

I'm running such a system...and the fan on the 9700 is indeed the loudest component in my system. I don't have any dB numbers for the card though. I just stopped the fan for a second with my finger to see how much noise it was making 🙂

I need specs.
The 9700pro is bar far the loudest fan in my otherwise silent system. If the fan was`nt there, you would`nt b able to hear my system. I wanted to know, so i could decide if it was worth replacing the HSF with a quieter HSF.

 

Then get the Zalmon heatpipe and you will be noise free.

I was thinking more along the lines of a 7v mod, then when the warrenty runs out, i`ll get a zalman heatpipe.
