3,136 people have voted so far (as of 5:17 PM ET)

12 months or less: 27 votes (1%)
Between one and five years: 653 votes (21%)
Between five and 10 years: 725 votes (23%)
Iraq won't be stable and democratic in the next decade: 1731 votes (55%)

Not a particularly auspicious prediction from one of the more economically conservative communities.

Aren't we spending like $7,000,000,000 every 30 days there

Seems like Osama is smarter than Bush.. saying he wanted to bankrupt the US

LOL

I vote for Iraq the war part III in 2011, this time they join Iran and have real WMDs and they start it.

online polls are hardly scientific and are known to be subject to various things like getting posted in wickedly partisan forums which throw the results off one way or another.

Oh gosh no. Andy Rooney says we're spending only $5,600,000,000 every month. You know he's got his facts straight. After all, he works for CBS.

I agree. I guess I was expecting the WSJ crowd to be more in sync with the current administration's expectation for speedy results in Iraq. I was shocked at the poll results.

You know you're too conservative when even the WSJ readers disagree with you 😉
