We'll need to learn to repair spinal cords first. The head transplant guy might succeed because nerves that hook up with the heart and lungs are on the upper spinal cord, which can come with the head.

Don't call it a brain transplant,you don't want to trow away your brain and have someone elses brain in your body.
It's a full body transplant that you want,to keep your brain and put it into another body.

LOL, good point. OTOH the people that will be able to afford this won't want some 3rd world body. I can just imagine all the guys asking "is he a grower or a shower?"

Head transplants have already been done on animals and even human cadavers. Doing a live human head transplant might finally give us insight into consciousness, self awareness, and maybe even... a "soul." Can't wait!
