None of my favorites win. Although, that nappy-haired soccer player I wanted to win. So one 1 of 6?

I think they need the best of Survivor contestants show.

Rupert was the ONE guy that I've ever seen on that show that really belonged there. My parents are into it, and when I saw him I figured he wouldn't last long, but the dude could beat the other guys if he made his own tribe and went solo.

Yes, I stand by my original statement and "chimed in" since I've seen the commercials for it and that was enough to base my decision on. I do not watch network prime time nor much television in general because it's mostly unoriginal garbage. I will not watch Big Brother, Joe Millionaire nor any other clone series.

Based upon my loathing of network television my ridicule of the show is not based on ignorance. However, if you enjoy the show more power to you. I simply don't tune in.

I'm not sure why you haters care so much if it's on the air -- don't watch it. It's that simple. And if you hate the commericals so much, stop watching CBS.

As far as Rupert going, that was sad but expected. What I don't understand is why people were considering Burton a bigger threat than Rupert -- Burton will probably win many of the remaining immunities after Christa / Sandra are gone.

I do not tune in because it is a reality show. No one does...that's why many of these arguments seem funny to me. People like Survivor because of the competition, and strategy involved. If you do not understand how different this game is than Big Brother/Joe Millionaire, then your opinion that the show is crap IS based on ignorance mixed with your already strongly opionated views of network television in general.

All I'm saying, is don't knock it till you tried it! Otherwise it would probably just be wiser to reserve your opinion as it is irrelevant to the topic of the thread.

gavin - I don't think they were necessarily threated by ONLY Rupert. They were threatened by the fact that Rupert & the two girls had such a strong alliance. BUT since Rupert was a threat to win immunity, they had to get him off first b/c the ladies are lost w/o him. My opinion is that Burton and Lil don't even belong on the show, and I hope Burton doesn't make it to the final two. Lil has no chance...she is about as smart as a cornflake. I was most disappointed to see Rupert go b/c he had played the game better than anyone else has...ever. Gave away his rewards at the right times to the right people while still trying to stay loyal to his team. He just got a bit careless & his ego let him think there was no chance his name would be on those cards. He deserved that reward also... they DIDN'T EVEN CATCH A SINGLE FISH?!?!?!?! Ugh...

I used to make fun of people that watched Survivor, but then I watched it and I was hooked - love it now, only 24 is ahead of it on my favorite show list....anyhow...

There is going to be an all-star Survivor, the first episode is the night of the SuperBowl, and there will be 18 contestants...and yes, Rupert is one of them....they aren't going to say who all of them are yet, but Rudy, Ethan, Jeri, Colby, Richard Hatch, and a few others are all in.....2 of the people they asked to participate declined, but they aren't saying who they are.......the first person voted off gets 25k, and it goes up from there! Also, since they know how to play, the challenges will be much harder...should be good!

As for this season, I think Jon is the easiest person to hate I have ever seen on TV - he used to work for Rowdy Roddy Piper, which is why he occasionally acts like an idiot wrestler, even though he weighs about a buck....I was pulling for Rupert...the latino girl in his 'group' should have stressed more to Rupert that Jon and Burton had Lil with them...Rupert didn't take it seriously.....

Burton and Lil don't belong, the whole outcast thing was kind of weak.....I don't see anyone coming close to beating Burton in an immunity challenge now.....it will only take a week or two before Jon turns on him too....
