How long until NFL uniforms go pink for October?

So as I assume everyone knows October is breast cancer awarness month and the NFL is doing its part to make us all aware by putting pink everywhere.

But it occurs to me that they could be doing so much more. I mean most of the uniform is still a color other than pink D:

So with the pinking of the NFL with gloves, shoes, 1st down lines, penalty flags, etc I wonder how long until they go full pink and even make the uniforms pink.

Here is a the KC Chiefs uniform modified to be pink. Since their normal uniform is red is seems like an obvious substitution.

Looks pretty snazzy to me.

Maybe in the future we can look forward all NFL teams wearing pink uniforms for the month of October😎

Having the penalty flags pink is ridiculous. During the Seattle game the announcers thought there was a penalty because one of the players pink towels fell on the field.

All the announcers yesterday were complaining about pink flags getting confused for towels and other player accessories. I think they should at least switch back to yellow flags, they can keep pink for everything else even though it's stupid.

Also I have made a point never to donate to Susan G. Komen. Fuck them.

I am confused. How would you be able to tell one team from another?

One team wears pink shirts and white pants, the other wears white shirts and pink pants, obvs.

How do you tell teams apart when they have similar color schemes? Ravens/Vikings, Bears/Broncos, Cardinals/Falcons?

Offensive and Defensive players wear different numbers :sneaky:

And why would you be watching the game when instead you could be becoming aware of breast cancer 😕

The numbers are actually differentiated by role? I thought it was just a number the player likes.

PS I do my part in fighting breast cancer by trying to inspect as many female breasts by hand as possible, duh.

op said they all go pink...

Look at the OP image. Now imagine one team wearing the OP uniform, and the other wearing white jerseys and pink pants.

It's no different from how teams play in training camp. You have one side wearing the home jerseys and the other side wearing the away jerseys.

You seriously thought I was serious?

:colbert:

Screw it. If its for breast cancer awareness have the players go topless.

Come to think of it, the cheerleaders too.

Tampa Bay did this as their actual uniform in the 80s.

I think they have yet to live that one down, especially amongst their fans.

Trying to find a cure for breast cancer (and other cancers) is a great thing. We all like breasts...but dammit...football is for MEN, not wimmenz.

Let tennis players wear pink. Let the WNBA wear pink...Let soccer players wear pink...but NOT the NFL.
