How long should one typically wait after applying the defogger repair kit to connect the L1 bridges?

I lightly dried mine with a heat gun on low, and dialed her up about 15 minutes after the application- no problems at all.

You don't have to wait at all. The stuff is made for far more amperage than it will recieve closing those bridges. I've installed several right away, never had a problem. If something should happen, you could just redo it, it's not like it would fry or anything, just wouldn't overclock. Good luck on your oc.
