How Long to Transmit an Email

How long does it take to transmit an e-mail, on average? Like you sign up for something and they say they sent an e-mail with a confirmation link. How long does that take to arrive for you all? Mine take awhile (punkhardcore.net, eudoramail.com), eudora might be faster.

Usually 3 or 4 minutes I think.

Ah mine takes forever it's been about 20 mins. Maybe it's just punkhardcore I don't use EudoraMail that much.

My emails typically arrive nearly instantaneously... I've never had to wait more than a minute or two.
