Time to put this one to bed:
Augmentin and Alcohol [posted 1/11/99]
Question: May I consume Alcohol while taking Augmentin?
Answer: Ok, but I would limit it.
Augmentin and Alcohol
I also could not find any warnings/precautions or drug interactions on Rxlist that warn about use with alcohol.
Now I did find one site that said:
Be careful drinking alcohol while taking Augmentin. Drinking alcohol has caused some people to experience flushing, sweating or a fast heart rate while taking antibiotics similar to Augmentin.
It was the only site that warned of any negative effect of drinking while taking Augmentin except for one other site that mentioned alcohol might interfere with the effectiveness of the drug.
Overall, I found two sites that said anything negative about drinking while taking Augmentin. The others said no interaction or no precautions needed.

I don't think you will have a problem but you might try PMing Hayabusarider(Pharmacist) or Balibabydoc(doctor) if you are concerned. I believe tcsenter has medical training as well and MrsSkoorb is a nurse. So PM one of those four if you are really concerned but I wouldn't be. Take it slow at first and if you feel different that normal stop drinking.
Simple as that.
Edit Hmm... maybe not simple after all. I found one other site that said this:
No information is available about the concurrent use of Augmentin and. alcohol. However, the ingestion of alcohol whilst being treated with some other ß-lactam antibiotics has precipitated a disulfiram (antibuse) like reaction in some patients. Therefore, the ingestion of alcohol should be avoided during and for several days after treatment with Augmentin.
You most certainly do not want an antibuse like reaction, so maybe you shouldn't drink. Hell there is too much conflicting info and if you can't contact your doctor or one of the medical trained people I listed then don't drink. Sorry, I was really finding nothing but positives but you don't want an antibuse type reaction...
