How long should I wait for my money order before contacting post office?

Basically someone sent me a money order for 500 dollars friday, however he sent it to my old address in the phone book (even though I left him specific instructions to mail it to my work address). Anyways, I am getting all of the mail redirected from my old address to my new address, and have yet to see the mail. I am giving the guy the benifit of the doubt right now, he seems nice enough and I do believe he sent it friday. However, I am getting a little worried about the money order. Is there any way to ask the post office if any mail was recently redirected from my old address? Another question is if it does not come in tommorow, should I tell him to cancel that money order and resend a new money order?

Options:


A. Contact post office and ask them if any mail was recently redirected from my old address (if this is even possible)
B. Contact the person who sent the money order if it does not come in tommorow. Tell him to cancel the money order and resend a new one
C. I am being paranoid and should just wait till tuesday to see if it comes in.

I recently had the mail forwarded to my new address. The clerk told me that all forwarded mail gets send to an alternate location before I get it, and to expect the mail to take a couple extra days to arrive than normal.

I'd just give it a few days.
