about 10-15miles, but it takes about 60mins one-way because I walk and take public transportation

28 miles/35 minutes one way. I take my wife (works a mile away from me) and a commuter and use the HOV lanes. Had to move so far from work so I could find a decent place to live under $400k. :frown: At least I get almost 40mpg.

if I rode my bike or walked to work, I wouldn't make it home alive

as it is, I park in an underground garage that has direct access to an elevator going upstairs to the floor I work on, so I can totally avoid ever having to be exposed out on the streets at night by my office.
