I bought my '99 Grand Am in November of '98 so it's been 11.5 years so far.

2 years for all of mine, actually.. I bought my Tundra and MR2 in May '08, and then brought the bike home in the back of the truck. 😛

My other MR2 has only been mine for a couple of months, but it's not driving so I don't really count it.
 
my car is a 2003... it's been mine since 2006, so it'll be 4 years this August.

I got it right after turning 25 when my insurance rates went down (before that, I was driving a 1996 ford escort that I got in 2003)
 
i still have a bit of confusion about what you mean by OWN. here are the relevant stats.

2007 honda pilot - this is paid off so we own it but only since april 2010 (1 month) but it's been in our possession for 3 years.
2009 vw jetta - this is not paid off yet so we don't own it yet but it's been in our possession for 8 months.
 
I got mine a year ago this past Oct, so 1 yr, 7months-ish. I got it because my work moved, and I could no longer walk to work. Then they laid me off. Eesh.
 
Primary vehicle...2005 Expedition. Bought new 7/05 <34,000 miles
Secondary vehicle...2003 Jetta. Bought used 1/07 About 40,000 miles.

Dead 87 BMW 735i...bought used 4/2000 about 115,000 miles.
(it's going to go away this year...tired of it taking up driveway space)
 
Got my 01 A4 in June 2003. Car is still running fine but getting old. Has 177,000 miles on it now. Just need her to last about 12 more months and I will be getting an 09 A3 TDI.

Another member of the dead auto club...

2002 Saturn L100 that we bought new in July 2002. It has 142,000 miles. Still runs like new. We've owned it 8 years.
 
e-peen thread +1 b/c people are listing cars. this was not the question but e-peens are needlessly bulging because that's what e-peens do.

When I did have a vehicle at the end of HS, it was my parents' old car, so I 'owned' it for less than a year, but it was in the family for ~10 years (purchased new) by the time we sold it. Don't own a car now :\
