i'm calling shens. pics of you with a sushi hat at a sushi bar making sushi.

I don't do it right now, I have two years ago. Sushi hat and all. The pay wasn't the best $12/hr.

Good one calling shens what a surprise.

He knows a liar when he sees one. Good call Cattlegod.

hey grandpa. Didn't know old timers get so jealous of their younger counterparts.

You two should know, takes one to know one, right? But you two are off in this thread, as you are in any post I make. Your bullshit radars must be faltering from your old age.

Since any Sushi Chef apprentice starts out as sushi rice maker for the first few years that's what you were unless you're working at some low-end place that'd take anyone off the street.

He's 23, but he's been a model, a sushi chef and a flash designer and he's a big baller. LOL

He also said he does video production.

It's like talking to a 12 yr old child who's a pathological liar. It's hilarious. He really just doesn't understand the jokes on him.

I highly doubt that any place of employment that would take him in would have any standards higher than "opposable thumbs."

I worked for Hiro's sushi bar, Miami Beach. Try again.

WRONG. Any sushi bar would take you with prior experience. A few years to make sushi rice?!?! HAHAHAHA Only if one is as slow as you are.

three steps:

Make rice in rice maker
Pour Vinegar/salt/sugar solution
Mix rice to get moisture out and let sit.

Do you know what apprentice means?

Thanks liar but making sushi rice is an art. Where did you go to apprentice before qualifying to become a sushi chef? $12/hr sounds right for a sushi rice maker.

The joke is on you pervert. I STILL model. Do you think I dont' do multiple things? At our ripe age we have energy. I don't do sushi right now can't you read? It was my full time job two years ago when I turned 21. I swear you stalk me linus.

And yes, I do video production and spend atleast 3 hours a day doing various projects. My days are long enough to get many things done. I don't need to nap every 20 minutes like you.

12/hr?! Rice makers get minimum wage if that. It's easy to find an asian who doesn't speak english to work for $4 an hour. I have seen it. Especially in Miami Beach. I've made sushi rice, worked the kitchen making ginger dressing, eel sauce, tempura batter, name it I have done it.

Don't forget bona fide artist and expert musician and musical composer. He is more a jack of all trades and master of none.

Yes I dj/produce too. Would you like to call more shens, losers? I'm still young and have time to become a master of all my trades unlike you. Maybe if most of you didn't spend your lives on these forums, you would get a lot more done. Don't be mad at me some of you have 40-60k posts and nothing to show for it.

WHOPPIE more shens!!! Would you like me to find my sushi hat and model it for you? You would all want that wouldn't you? Do you need my attention ppl is that it?

So I take it it's impossible for a person to have multiple jobs in his lifetime, a couple rare magic cards, dj equipment, good genetics, creative art skills, lots of ebay feedback?

Do we all have to be like linus, cattlegod and the rest and only do one thing our whole lives and be bad at it?

:yawn; :shrugs; *hopeless. No more forum time for me today I have projects to complete, things to sell, etc..

You guys.. I haven't eaten it yet. I'm going to the fridge right now... I swear. It's my breakfast. I'll end it now.

I can't believe this turned into a flame war.... Hahahaha funnier than the texting in a movie theater thread.

Edit: I put one piece in my mouth and it tastes like shit... I'll spit it out now.

It depends entirely on how cold your fridge is.

55º? Forget it.

35º? It's probably fine.

For some reason, I've seen a lot of references to turning your fridge up a little bit to save on electricity lately.

Don't do it. The minuscule amount you save on electricity will be far outstripped by the amount of food you're required to throw away.

You should keep your fridge as cold as it will go before things start to freeze, IMO. I never have problems with meats spoiling.
