Depends how good it is. If it's tasty it usually lasts one night in my Frig:)

The day it rears up and high fives you, is the day it has to go.

If you made it Thursday, it's about at its limit.

I'd go 2 weeks myself, unless it started smelling funny.

Yeah just smell it

Several days at least. At the restaurant I work at a tray of lasagna is made at a time, then cut up into bricks that are refrigerated, then cooked in the oven. A tray is usually used every 2-3 days (about 40 plates of lasagna in a tray)

My generic rule for all leftovers in the refrigerator is to toss it after the 3rd day. Lasagna might be safe to eat for a little longer because of all the tomato sauce (acidic), but I still follow the rule, because I'm somewhat of a freshness freak.

No it lasts for at least a week. I know, my GF will make a pan of Lasagna before she leaves town so I have something for dinner. And I've never had trouble with it up to one week. I've never tried it longer, though.

And for some reason, it always tastes better as leftovers. Why is that?

Freezing it is the best answer. It'll taste the same when you microwave it, and it'll stay fresh forever.

i usually let it sit in the fridge for a week.

when i make it, i make one dish, refrigerate two servings for myself to eat during the week, and freeze the rest. generally though i throw out the cooked servings in the freezer after 2 months to be safe.

and damnit next time i make it, i'm going to individually wrap each portion, so that's its easier to get out of the darn tupperware.

also you should try to defrost overnight in the fridge before eating but if all else fails, microwave on high.

Thanks for the replies.
I made it last Thursday, so freezing it now, doesn't buy me any extra time.

If you're going to use it rather quickly, wax paper makes a great wrap for it so you can just store it in a container without a mess. Even wrapping it in wax paper on a plate and saran wrap works well. It will last at least 3-5 days this way in a good fridge.
