how long does it take to send a letter

3-4 days normally. Have gotten letters from about that distance in less though (~2 days).

It hink USPS is a lot better than a lot of ppl give them credit for. Most letters take no less than 5 days to get anywyere (coast to coast) and if you actually shell out the extra $0.45 to ship packaged prioirty...they most ALWAYS get there very fast. ive never had an issue with them, but it seems a lot of people look down on them. It would however be nice if it were free....i mean...taxes DO pay for it ;) (but I guess thats why its so cheap)

When I was in college, 600 miles took 4 days... so I'd say 2 days.

Actually, the USPS is one of the few departments of the government that is usually making money.
