Good question. If you severely overeat I believe it's called dumping syndrome where some of your food essentially skips digestion and comes right out the back. I also find myself going to the bathroom on occasion from a recently injested meal, but I think that's not the actual food being digested. My feeling is that something like chicken will take a number of hours to really start going into your bloodstream. Liquids can be digested quickly as proven by how quickly a person can feel a buzz if they start drinking, though alcohol may aid absorption (or hurt it!).

Well, when I eat papa john's spinage pizza, it usually takes about 6-9 hours before i see bright green crap 😀

Well as I understand it instead of having ample time in your digestive tract to get absorbed the food is essentially rushed through your intestines because there is so much of it there and pushed out the back before it's properly absorbed.

Now if only we could program our digestive system to keep the healthy food and dump the bad food without first absorbing it.
That would be cool. I could eat pizza and all I'd get from it would be the vegetable topping :QOriginally posted by: TubStain

Maybe this is the future of our evolution, when junk food is so commonly consumed that our body has to protect itself from it.

Dumping syndrome & more
I hadn't read anything about it before, just heard a bit. Sounds like fun! I think I had it once at the end of a meal at university in which I was competing with another guy to see how much I could eat.
