How long does it take to burn a 4.7 gig DVD?

I am sure this information is out there but it seems every review leaves the information out: How long does it take to burn a 4.7 gig DVD or full DVD?

If you pour a little gasoline on it first,
it's probably pretty Quick.😀

Seriously though, 1X speed would be a Bummer.
What speed are the DVD burners rated?
Maybe someone here knows how to convert that number
into something meaningful.

Well I just saw 2 models of Pioneer on the web, that claimed 30 minutes for a full burn for one drive and
1 hour for the other cheaper one.

Most of my harddrives, IDE 7200 rpm, have a sustained read speed of about 6 MB/sec. So if I were to assume that as the
maximum speed, that would give a 4.7 GB transfer time of about 14 minutes. So my guess would be that even if the DVD
drives were to achieve phenomenal throughput, most people will be limited by their harddrives sustained read speed.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that was 30 minutes for 1x drive and 1 hour for 2x drive.
