LOL, I just put in the EPVI DVD, Chapter 27:

Luke: Leah, do you remember your mother? Your real mother?
Leah: Just a little bit. She died when I was very young.
Luke: What do you remember?
Leah: Just images really. Feelings.
Luke: Tell me.
Leah: She was very beautiful. Kind. But sad. Why are you asking my this?
Luke: I have no memory of my mother. I never knew her.

SO, they were born at the exact same time. One remembers what mom looked like. The other has no memory of her!

I believe Leia was referring to her adopted parents (as she didn't actually know she was adopted), whereas Luke was an orphan from birth and knew the people who raised him were his aunt and uncle.

By that time, she knew that she was the twin of Luke Skywalker. I believe she knew she was adopted as well, since her answer wouldn't make sense cause her adopted mother was on Alderaan when the Death Star destroyed it (I think).

Now we need Episode 7,8,and 9. . .

9 could be called the return of the return of the sith. . .

Although the six movies are done, I do wish that they would make more. I really enjoy an ongoing story, and star wars is the best story going on through series of episodes. One of the only movies that was not destroyed with each additional movie made.

Just so you guys know that the one they showed in episode 3 was the prototype.

Yeah, that is weird.

The part Death Star shown in Episode III was constructed in the time between Episode II to Episode III. However, it takes 20 years (the age of Luke Skywalker in Episode IV) for it to become fully operational. However, the second Death Star was almost fully constructed in the time between Episode IV to Episode VI. There seems to be a large discrepancy in construction time for the Death Star.

Maybe the second Death Star constrution began at Yavin IV right after the first build.

People get all bent out of shape if every single bloody detail isn't explained and automatically assume that there is no possible rational explanation for the lack of detail.

In EPVI, when Luke and Leah (sp?) are on Endor and Luke tells her he's her brother: doesn't Leah say something to the affect of having remembered what her mother looked like? How can that be if mom died during child birth?

Because her "mother" was Mrs. Organa, not Padme.

People remember things that never happened all the time.
