How long does it take for something from Ontario to reach Los Angeles?

A small package, less than 1 pound, going through normal air/ground, whatever you guys call it over there. Just wondering, because someone sent a package to me on the 7th of this month, and it hasn't arrived yet.

I have received packages sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma from Ontario, from Alberta, and from British Columbia. All of them took at least two weeks to arrive. One took over a month. I would presume that the Ontario-to-Los Angeles delivery would be a bit faster, since LA is a major city, and my hometown, Tulsa, is not.

Two weeks, dear lord...what could they possibly be doing? Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper if they were to just send it on its way, ground? I figgur the direct drive would only take a week plus a few days. And they wouldn't have to deal with having the package sit at a warehouse.
