If I send someone within my state a personal check, how long does it take to clear the bank?

Hrmm, how would I know about the other person's bank? Or is the length of time dependent on my bank as well? Typical time is 3-5 days?

Depends on the bank and how large/efficient they are.

Normally I'd say 3 business from the date it's presented and cashed.
