How long does cash deposited through an atm take to post to your account?

a better question is, why are you depositing cash in an atm?

mines instant becuase at citibank they give you a line of credit (called checking plus) where any deposits are made against that. So when I go to the atm i check online and the funds are avaliable immediatly.

Yep, it usually shows up the next business day. When I make a deposit, I get up to $50 credited to my account right on the spot.

I remember once, I was at the mall and a couple were just depositing empty envelopes to atm in order to get money credited to their account. They probably needed instant money they didn't have. 😛

1) NEVER EVER EVER EVER use your debit/check card on the internet.
