How long does cash deposited through an atm take to post to your account?

a better question is, why are you depositing cash in an atm?

mines instant becuase at citibank they give you a line of credit (called checking plus) where any deposits are made against that. So when I go to the atm i check online and the funds are avaliable immediatly.

Yep, it usually shows up the next business day. When I make a deposit, I get up to $50 credited to my account right on the spot.

I remember once, I was at the mall and a couple were just depositing empty envelopes to atm in order to get money credited to their account. They probably needed instant money they didn't have.

1) NEVER EVER EVER EVER use your debit/check card on the internet.
