Yes it was....but they still outsourced all their builds. PCP&C never built their own power supplies.

I'm still continually amazed that people still believe PCP&C built anything.....thx for yoru input, Boomer. Maybe one day the facts will sink through. :)

My OCZ power supply crapped out on me in 4 years..

But my Antec? FROM MY ORIGINAL BUILD, 8 years ago, an Antec Tru Power 550, is powering my HTPC as we speak.

8 years strong, the only part I've re-used from my original rig.. very proud of her! .. and never expected to get so much life out of a piece of hardware :D

I've got a Thermaltake 430w (weird thing with 9 molex connectors and probably over-rated capacity and poor efficiency) that has run two systems that spent most of their time under full load from folding/BOINC (including the one it's in right now). That was nearly six years ago, and I'm surprised it's still running.

I had to replace a Thermaltake 700 or 750W PSU awhile ago for losing 5v line after a shutdown (forgot I had to do something and wouldn't turn back on after shutdown). Been running replacement for probably 3 yrs or so but rebuilding system and it is being replaced as well with a 650W PSU. Single GPU and should be fine for what system will be mainly used for (workhorse/all-around machine w/VMware Workstation usage occasionally and gaming). But I decided to leave it on vs turn on for 1hr in am, shut down for day, turn on for 3-5hrs a night, less wear and tear on all components so the adage goes.

Obviously you guys have never driven a four wheeler :p. Run that thing into the ground, its of high quality so it will handle anything you can throw on it. it should last 7 years at near max loads so dont worry, this PSU is good.
