how long does a party poker tourny last?

I just registered for a tourny in partypoker. I got 15 free dollars from PP so I decided to try my luck at the tourny. With less than an hour left.. there are over 2000 people registered to play with the total price pool of over $2600

the longest i made a $1 or $3 tourney was about 1.5 hours

i made $ in one, i got $1.47 i think . that might have been longer, i remember i made it past the first break. not sure if the breaks are every 1 or 2 hours

they do $1 and $3 tourneys everyday/night

yeah, many of them have rebuys ,, like one before and one after the break

i don't see how the rebuy helps much. you either get enough of a stack to get to where the blinds are big or you don't. if you do, then you need the cards to smack them. if you don't , you're already gone

I can tell you that within 1 hour, at least half the people will be out....however, the fewer the people there are, the longer it takes for 1 person to get out.
