Vic, are you a home loan officer? What does it take to be pre-qualified?
Yes. To buy a home, I assume? Paystubs (as above), 2 months most recent bank statements (all pages please), last year's W-2 (or tax returns if self-employed), and documentation of source of funds to close (i.e. down payment) if not from bank account.
With that, a credit check, a completed loan app, and a signed Borrowers Signature Authorization form (granting legal consent to the lender to underwrite the loan), any lender should be able to get a credit approval and pre-qual letter (if not declined) to you within 24-48 hours tops.
