how long do you guys wait for dental care appt??

I switched my dentist from LA to Sacramento and i called the provider who i am registered to here and she goes "oh we arent taking new patients until middle of JANUARY!"

holy sh*t!

This is as bad as dentist in LA who even for a general checkup or filling will give me a month to two in advance appointments.. damn!

i go about once every 3 years. Every time i get a dental cleaning, the dentists says that my teeth are great and is surprised that its been 3 years since the previous cleaning.

Mine are scheduled at 6 month intervals.
Same here, they keep the hygenists booked solid so unless you want to be on standby to pick up a cancellation expect to schedule months in advance for non-emrgency work or a normal cleaning, x-rays and exam.

I always make my 6 mo appointment when I leave frmo the current one. And then 2 weeks before they call me and tell me they have to reschedule because they put someone else in my spot. I'm like WTF did you make the appointment for and then bump me? Just tell the person that the time is filled and move them.

i usually don't have to wait long at all.

they try to get me in there every three months, and i was adhering for a while, but i've spaced it out to every 6 months.

i might be getting braces, not sure. we have to see if our benefits will cover everything. yay

that usually happens to me to but it has worked in my favor to. I've had to cancel an appt due to something coming up and was able to make it for a few days later.
