How long do those little frogs in plastic cubes live?

If you mean Grow-a-Frog, mine lived for 17 years. I didn't keep him in the cube though, eventually he had a 10 gallon aquarium.

I had one of those, but it only lasted a couple days after getting to full size...damn thing just kept looking tastier and tastier until I had to end my couriosity.

i like to say i'm glad your daughter is able to care for her frog so well. on the other hand i'd like to say i can't stand those aquababies. i personally feel it's not the correct way to sell or display a fish or a frog.

I've never tried to keep one of those frogs alive, but I've kept a German shepherd alive for almost 4 years now locked in a doghouse that's probably about a 4-5' cube.

I hope you are KIDDING about that!!!! 🙁

Thats less unusual than people think.

Tightly kennelled dogs make the excellent hunters. The dogs are less apt to run off during the hunt.

Ok, I have a serious... somewhat related post...

Are those Cat-in-a-bottle things for real? Don't laugh at me... just tell me an honest yes or no.

Maybe so, but that doesn't make it right!

And since when is a German shepherd a hunting dog?

My dog Brutus (the lab looking one in the middle) is with me 24/7/365.

I had a German shepherd while growing up and he was as good at hunting as any lab I've seen.

It matters how you work with them. I admit they are hyper, but they are intelligent dogs if you get a good one and work with him.

really? i thought those frogs would die after like a week for sure!

Anyways, anyone try one of those sea monkey growing kits, what do they look like?

sea monkeys are really brine shrimp.
i had sea monkeys once.
they have a lot of sex then die

its pretty crazy

I don't own a dog. I was trying to make the point that you shouldn't keep an animal if you're going to keep it confined to an area in which it can barely turn around, regardless of whether it's a crog, dog, cat, bird, fish, whatever.

Did you use the included serving spoon?:Q

Holding Eachother
Grow-a-Frogs are very friendly. Although it may look as if one frog (the boy) is trying to hurt the other frog, they are actually just holding eachother. Sometimes, this behavior can be an indication that the female is ready to lay eggs. Don't worry at all... this looks like it an "emergency", but it certainly is not.

Tell that to the humane society when they throw more than one dog, pretty well all strangers to each other, into a 5' cube.
