How long do the batteries on your Palm last?

Hi, I got a Palm IIIxe and it seems to be simply eating through the damn batteries. THe screen contrast (or brightness) knob is all the way down...

It seems that I can barely get 1.5 hrs of continous use (like 1%/min).

How long do your last?

Mine doesn't take batteries, you just have to keep it lubricated.

Anyway, that is not much there marty...something is wrong. My friend's lasts a damn long time!

Shoot, it seemed wrong to me too....I'll email Palm support and try Duracell or something (I use this 4/$1 CDN batteries now...cheap..)

most batteries have a number on the side... for example my new AA's are 1550... i think my AAA's were 700. basically the higher it is, the longer they last.

a few weeks, give or take depending on how often i use it (games and all).

it seems these cheapo ones don't. Other than voltage, I don't see any other numbers....neither on my new ones, nor the old ones.

Palm VII -> 3 to 4 weeks with wireless used. 6 weeks if wireless is not used.
