Remember, make photocopies of everything you send in and write down everything clearly for them to see like when you purchased it, day it's being mailed out, etc.

Incase you want to know what the photocopies would be for - sometimes they'll say they didn't get everything, or didn't get ___________ in the papers, etc. and so you can just ask where to mail or fax everything they need. Worst case scenario, by documenting when you mailed, purchased, and writing down when you communicate with them, the rep's name, etc., if you have a major issue with them fulfilling their duty, take it to the store you bought it. I've found that by keeping track of EVERYTHING related to the rebate, you will get support from the store you bought it at because the manager will realize you've been doing everything within your reach to get the rebate.

Staples has given me in store credits in the past for things that I didn't get a rebate for. Actually, not plural, only happened once, but that one time made it worth it. I'm cheap, and will go through that hassle for $10 or $15. If anything, it's just the principle behind it that matters. I know that these companies make a profit because most people don't send in the rebate or don't do it properly, I want to make sure I'm getting the rebate though.

Is that a receipt or an SAT question?

BTW it's 10 business days or 14 days including weekends.
