how long do HID bulbs last?

depends on the bulb
but a phillips 85122/85122+ typically rated 2000 hours but should be replaced at 1000hours due to loss of output

120 bucks per bulb to replace, Canadian currency.

I can get 85122+ brand new for 70$ / pair CDN

I pm'd you about your source a few months ago when you were first struting your amazing hookup, so what's the deal? You going to hook me up or what?

Edit:

Btw I'm really close to Oakville 🙂

I have a 2003 Nissan Maxima with 75,000 miles on it and I've yet to replace a single bulb on the entire car including the HID headlights.

That's imperssive, not for the HID's but for the other bulbs. I've had to replace a few of my rear regular ones.

The HID bulbs in conversion kits can be just as good or better than "stock luxury" HID systems. Don't be a purist.

I've never seen a full HID kit that I really liked. I have however, seen hid bulbs fitted into stock casings and look really nice. Theres some young kid around my way with a new Civic Si, and he did a really nice job replacing stock bulbs with hids.
