How long did you Lurk before you start posting/register?

I lurked for around one months before i started.

I found a link from the old agn forums to anandtech.
I lurked for a pretty good amount of time, and was finally convinced to join by a friend.

I wished I hadn't lurked as much, cause this place is great.

Yeah I would say 6+ months. Actually closer to a year. Usually just came here for Hot Deals.

About 20 seconds. I went into GH and asked a Q and got an A in 20 seconds as well! I saw OT a couple of minutes later, wandered in, and got off the mark pretty quickly. Been going flat clap ever since!

Why do people lurk?

Easily was 1.5-2 years. Jumping out and talking to strangers just isn't something I do naturally.

Course i had to leave for a couple of months and focus on schooling after joining...then re-registered like three times, didn't re-register the fourth time for a couple of months as i had to focus on school. Voila, re-registered a couple of months after the site came back up.

So I guss i'm an off and on lurker.
