I decided not to fear love and I say it openly, freely, and meant it when I say it.
I say it to friends and acquaintances occasionally and they usually think I'm joking but I'm serious. I said it to my girlfriends very quickly, and the ones that weren't scared by it were the best relationships I had.
I say it to my wife several times a day and my daughters as well.
Love should not be held in reserve and pulled out only on special occasions, it should be indulged in, revelled in, spread as often and as openly as possible.

Why hold back love? We should endeavor to give and receive it as much as possible.

hmmm....dated 7months, she said it to me in the most romantic gesture ever 😀

Never. I don't really get along with people enough to "love" them... I just need a (hot) female version of myself .

Not to mention, the term love is so subjective anymore, it means different things to different people and that ends up causing some weird situations. Then people get into this lovey-dovey mood and they're just relying on other people too much as their emotional crutch... I pity the weak.

Although, I'm starting to consider the US Government my girlfriend; she takes 1/3 of my paycheck each week and I see nothing from it... yep, sounds just like a girlfriend 😉.

About 3 weeks with my last SO. We had taken a certain pill that made it come out sooner than usual.

I kind of prefer it being said earlier on because its awkward when you have to think of substitutions of "love." It's just a word so I don't care much either way, but of course the chick does.

it really depends on the situation, i think its hard to put a time frame on it.
usually around two or three months for me..

I knew I loved her very soon after dating...but I had known her for a while, so I already knew what kind of person she was....I just needed to know if we had the right chemistry. Just the same, I waited ~6 months.

Haha...same experience with me.....about a month into it. We broke up...but, I got a beautiful daughter out of the deal!

Two weeks. I should have started running away as soon as he said it.

My last relationship left me with the same opinion. After our first date she mentioned love, marriage, kids, and etc. It bothered me, but I basically ignored her... I found out that fools rush in, especially when they are trying to heal a broken heart from a previous relationship. Its a big red flag... And like you, I should have started running immediately. 🙂

She screws you whenever she can too, what a great girlfriend!

I'm surprised so many people take that long to say it. A year in jessicak's relationships? Wow. Maybe I just fall in love quickly. I've meant it every single time I've said it to an SO.

no clue realy.

we were good friends before we started dateing. i got dumped by my GF *(whaaa ahem anyway) and got to be firends with my wife. She had a really cute friend i wanted to date and my wife was out of my legue and had a BF.

well she broke up with him and came up to me and said we were dateing. she didnt ask or nothing just said we were dateing. but at that point we were really good friends.
