Just did it recently and it was about 3 months. I was being cautious b/c of past experiences.

With me, I accidently let it slip out around week 3. I had been obsessing over her for 2 months prior to our first date, so it really wasn't that sudden. Her response: "No you don't. You can't love someone until you've dated for at least 6 months." Nine long (but very fun) months later, she finally said it back to me.

Her view of love is different from mine though. I lump infatuation in there as well.

Been with him almost a year and a half and still waiting... but I'm okay with that most of the time. We live together, have an amazing relationship, so no worries.

8-9 months, when I was wasted. Said it again like 4 months later, we broke up, a year later we got back together and we say it.

About a month after we first starting going out, both relationships I've had. We both meant it.

She said it after ~4 months. She said she was waiting for me to say it first and finally gave up waiting.

I said it a few months later.

You mean the second person reciprocated to make the first one feel OK.

We said it to each other when we both knew the moment was right.
we both felt that same way at the same time. :)

not like "i love you"

........ long pause.... "uh, i love you.... too"
